MicroDicom Shell Extension allows you to view thumbnails of Dicom images in Windows explorer just like any other picture. It is a very nice neat application that seems to work pretty well.I tested it on my Windows Vista Business SP1 machine and it worked well, even with JPEG Lossless encoded Dicom images.
I think this application could be useful to help find DICOM images on your computer.
