Kodak Discovery
While playing with some of the Kodak software and images I happened to notice that the Kodak file that our digital panorex exports is actually just a DICOM image that has been renamed with a different file extension. You can rename the file and open it with a DICOM viewer. One referring dentists has requested that we send him only JPG images, but it would be too difficult for us to educate all our staff to export JPG images for only one doctor, so I am going to try and give him a free DICOM viewer application and teach him to rename the files open them in the viewer and export them to JPG files so he can then import them into his own application.
