The DICOM List

I am going to use this post as a list of all the DICOM applications that I have played with as well as a write-up of what the benefits/drawbacks of each are. This post will be updated as I get a chance.

Abilities Receive, Store and serves DICOM images.

Benefits Once installed it is easy to manage.

Drawbacks A bit tricky for a novice to setup tricky to setup.

Use it for A temporary storage of DICOM images or as a mini-PACS server.

Requirements A database server. i.e. MSDE, MySQL, Etc.

Limitations MSDE2000 limited to 2GB database.
